CORONAVIRUS UPDATE: 26th April 2021

As you will be aware, the Government have released a phased approach to the lifting of restrictions. Throughout the pandemic we have always followed the guidelines and implemented robust measures to ensure everyone’s safety. We do believe that our church is a safe place and our recent re-ordering project helps with the logistics of this considerably. As restrcitions are slowly lifted across the nation, we now feel comfortable to ease some of the restrictions in church.

  1. We will review this decision regularly, taking into account the current national/local situation (and any guidance from National church or Government).
  2. Our booking system for the two services will remain in place however, this will now increase to 100 maximum capacity.
  3. Holy Communion will resume with immediate effect, this will be in one kind only (wafers)
  4. We will now move to social distance of 1m+ (where possible we will keep 2m, however 1m plus a facemask is sufficient).
  5. We will no longer swap used chairs
  6. Ministers/leaders will commense once again the practice of walking down the aisle at the end of the service,

We are confident St. Anne’s is a safe place and our robust policy/procedures help to ensure this is the case.
