At St. Anne’s we are always looking for ways to get out into the community and to develop our friendships. The Men’s Ministry is one way which brings the men of the church together. If you would like to be involved speak to Rev Ian Greenwood.
17th March: St. Patrick’s day pint night (8pm The Victoria)
8th April: Men’s Breakfast (8.30am in church)
12th May: Go karting (To be arranged)
10th June: Men’s Breakfast (8.30am in church)
8th July: Walk in the lakes – Loughrigg fell/Grasmere (meet at church 7.30am) with correct walking equipment and footwear
8th September: Beer & Bike night: Meet at church 7pm (with your bike)
14th October: Men’s Breakfast (8.30am in church)
10th November: Christmas meal; Toby Carvery Aigburth Road 7.30pm
9th December: Men’s Breakfast (8.30am in church)
Christmas night out: On Saturday 5th December, 17 Men from St. Anne’s met at the Victoria Pub, Aigburth for a few festive drinks and a good laugh! If you’re up for the next one, talk to Ian Devine (Church Warden) or Ian Greenwood (Vicar).
Past Event: Beer and Bike night: On Saturday 3rd October 7pm, 10 men met at Church before riding to the ‘Pump House’ at the Albert Dock. Followed by a sedate ride to the Britannia Inn – then home again! It was a great laugh and apart from saddle sores the day after, everyone really enjoyed it!
Past Event: Saturday 23rd May, a group of men set off on an 8 mile walk around Loughrigg fell, before a quick visit to Grasmere for a couple of pints before a short walk back to the car and the well earned rest. A great day out, with amazing weather!! Looking forward to the next one!
