Regular Giving & One-Off Gifts
Giving is something members of St. Anne’s do as part of our worship, as a commitment to God’s people and in support of the church.
Below are various ways through which you can support St. Anne’s ministerial and community-based activities financially.

The Parish Giving Scheme (PGS)
If you would like to make regular contributions to St. Anne’s, please prayerfully consider signing up to the ‘Parish Giving Scheme’, the Diocesan approved system.
We have been using this scheme for a number of years and find it to be an easy and helpful way to contribute to the work of the Lord here at St. Anne’s. It is in essence a standing order through which, once set up, ‘Gift Aid’ is also automatically added (if appropriate). There are a growing number of people who give via this method, for which we are very grateful.

How to set up your gift through the PGS
Setting up PGS is straight-forward. As a first step, simply click on this link to open a document that explains more about the three simple ways to set up your gift: via Telephone, through the PGS website or via Post (by printing and completing the Gift Form available on our website).
Alternatively, if you are looking at this page on your computer, tablet or laptop, you can go directly to our PGS page by scanning the QR code on this page via your phone camera.
What happens next?
You will receive written confirmation (by email or post) of your Direct Debit, the amount of your gift and the date of your first gift. Please note that if you currently give to the church via standing order, we advise you to wait until receiving the confirmation letter from PGS before attempting to cancel it.
How will the church be notified of the donation?
The parish’s Planned Giving representative will receive a monthly statement, detailing the names of those who have given gifts (unless they choose to remain anonymous) and all the gifts given through the PGS.
What if I need to change my donation?
If you wish to make any changes to your Direct Debit, you should notify a member of the PGS team by phone 0333 002 1260, email info@parishgiving.org.uk or in writing.
One-Off Gifts
For those who are visiting the church for weddings or baptisms, or who have a connection with St. Anne’s but are not wanting to commit to regular giving through the PGS, or those who find themselves in a position to make an additional gift alongside their regular contribution, there are alternative ways that make giving easy:
Either through our website as a one-off gift (gift aid can added during the process), or via Text Giving.
Text Giving
We have set up Text Giving for those who are visiting, or those who find giving by text a simple and easy way to give.
You can choose to give any whole amount between £5.00 and £20.00

Texts cost the gifted amount (e.g. £5.00) plus one standard rate message and you’ll be opting in to hear more about our work and fundraising via telephone and SMS. If you’d like to give, but do not wish to receive marketing communications, text STANNESNOINFO to 70085. Please consider that through this method, the church looses 5% of your gift through fees.
